BetPal is an odds-comparison and bet-tracking tool, not a bookmaker. You never place a bet or move real money inside the app. This policy explains what limited information we collect to run your account, and how we protect it.
BetPal ("we", "us", "our") is operated by BetPal, based in Australia. If you have any questions about this policy or your data, contact us at support@betpal.app.
We collect only what we need to provide your account and the app's features:

If you choose to sign in with Google (where available), Google provides us with your email address and a user identifier to create your account. We do not receive your Google password.
Your information is used only to: provide and secure your account; save and display your tracked bets, multis and performance; remember your preferences; show content you share to the community feed; and respond to your support requests. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.
Your account data is stored on our backend hosted with Render in a Singapore data region, in a secure database. Data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections. We retain your data only while your account is active (see deletion below).
We do not share your personal information with any other third parties except where required by law.
You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time, either through the in-app account settings or by emailing support@betpal.app. We will permanently delete your account data within 30 days of your request, except where we are required to retain limited records by law.
BetPal is strictly for adults aged 18 and over. The app presents an age gate on first launch. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with data, contact us and we will delete it.
We protect your data with industry-standard measures including hashed passwords (bcrypt), token-based authentication, and encrypted (HTTPS) connections. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to safeguard your information.
You have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these rights, email support@betpal.app.
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
